CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – The 2024 Houby Days festival is just under a month away, and this year it’s bringing in a familiar face to lead the parade.
Iowa Hawkeyes women’s basketball player, and former Washington High School star, Hannah Stuelke will be the Grand Marshal.
The parade starts at 10 a.m. on May 18.

It kicks off on May 17 of next month in Czech Village.

Iowa basketball star Hannah Stuelke is serving as Grand Marshal at this year’s Houby Days in Cedar Rapids’ Czech Village.
Houby (pronounced hoo-bee) is the Czech word for mushrooms.
