Florida State football conducted its Spring Showcase this past Saturday where the squad had the opportunity in Doak Campbell Stadium. Even with the stadium being renovated, it is still an exciting time with college football (somewhat) being back.

The Seminoles had experienced their fair share of ups and downs through the time frame of the contest. However, fans have to remember the fact that Florida State is welcoming over thirty-eight newcomers. Players such as quarterback Jordan Travis and defensive end Jared Verse aren’t wearing the garnet and gold anymore.

While we at ChopChat do not want to focus on the negatives given that we are proud to share our passions for Florida State athletics, it is fair to assess everything associated with the football program. Even when facing life, everything isn’t sunshine and rainbows.

In this article, we want to focus on three players that need to showcase their skill set in order for the Seminoles to be successful in 2024.

Florida State quarterback Jordan Travis suffered a gruesome leg injury during Saturday night’s win over Northern Alabama, ending his 2023 season prematurely.

After the injury, it didn’t take long for the well-wishes and encouragement to start flooding in from football fans, and Travis himself even shared footage on social media from the hospital, cheering on his teammates while his injury was disagnosed and cared for by medical personnel.
