On Tuesday, Connor Orr of Sports Illustrated published some audacious predictions for every NFL team, including one that Bills Mafia would adore for Josh Allen, the quarterback for the Buffalo Bills.
Orr essentially believes that 2024 will be Josh Allen’s year, as the Sports Illustrated writer believes the quarterback from Buffalo will win MVP the following year.
Though Allen was damaged by the interceptions, his overall stats are difficult to dispute.
It’s not unrealistic to believe that Allen may be at the peak of his game in 2024, which could easily lead to an MVP award, with Joe Brady poised to serve as the Bills’ offensive coordinator the following season (the Bills offense was much stronger once Brady took over as the interim offensive coordinator in 2023).
Jackson, on the other hand, ran for 821 yards and five touchdowns while passing for 3,678 yards, 24 touchdowns, and seven interceptions.
According to SI.com, “How good the Bills will be is a mystery to me, but I think Allen has the makeup of an MVP candidate based on the likelihood that he’ll have to do a lot of heavy lifting.” “We saw the Bills offense “take off”—quotation usage intentional—after the restrictions (imposed or implied) on Allen’s mobility were lifted. “All of Allen’s highest rushing attempt games took place after the team fired Ken Dorsey and seemed to encourage Allen to put himself in danger more frequently.” “If Allen can stay healthy while playing this combative style of football, he’ll be able to stay ahead of his closest rivals…”
