On January 21, 2024, four-star defensive back recruit Tae Harris announced his departure from the Georgia Bulldogs. Harris has now pledged to play for the Tigers of Clemson.
According to 247Sports, the 5-foot-11, 200-pound player is the No. 193 prospect and the No. 15 safety in the incoming senior class. Harris is Georgia’s No. 26 player in the rankings.
Tae Harris attends Cedartown High School in Cedartown, Georgia, where he plays football. Legendary Georgia football player Nick Chubb was a Cedartown player as well.
In June 2023, Harris made his first commitment to play football at Georgia. But since Harris committed to the Bulldogs, a lot has happened on the Georgia coaching staff.
Harris has been invited to participate in the All-American Bowl in San Antonio, Texas, in 2025. Harris is a really fast track athlete. He did, in fact, do a 100-meter dash in 10.7 seconds in 2023.
Five players have committed to Georgia football for the 2025 recruiting class. In the class of 2025, Kirby Smart and Georgia had just the 10th best recruiting class. Still, with two five-star recruits committed, the Bulldogs have a strong base. Clemson boasts the third-ranked recruiting class in the country with ten commitments from the class of 2025.
Tae Harris is a powerful athlete with strong lower body. Harris primarily plays cornerback on tape. He is a strong heavy hitter and tackler. Harris attacks opposition blockers without hesitation and reads screen passes well.
