The NBA said on Wednesday that the Boston Celtics and Denver Nuggets will play preseason games in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, on October 4 and 6. These games will be in preparation for the upcoming season.
NBA COO Mark Tatum said in a statement, “We’re excited to bring two of the best teams in the NBA to Abu Dhabi in the Celtics and the Nuggets.” “We think these games, along with our year-round grassroots development and fan engagement efforts, will be a catalyst for the continued growth of the game in the Middle East and the United Arab Emirates. Basketball is gaining tremendous momentum in the region.”
According to the NBA, the two games will be available on television and digital platforms in more than 200 countries and territories.
The LA Clippers are a team that the Denver Nuggets have dominated for a few years. Since January 11, 2022, the Nuggets have defeated the Clippers without a loss, and they aim to extend that record tonight.
