This year, Red Bull Racing did not finish on the podium for the first time following a thrilling weekend in Singapore. Did Max Verstappen really have a quiet weekend, or is his reign of supremacy coming to an end? The question was posed to Lando Norris, Lewis Hamilton, and Carlos Sainz.

In the past, Christian Horner said he didn’t know why Red Bull trailed in Singapore, and even Toto Wolff thought the team was just having a rough weekend. Hamilton agrees with their remarks. “I wasn’t really watching much of others this weekend so I don’t really know why they’re off pace-wise but I think it’s great to see that others are,” the driver of the Mercedes said.

Hamilton: “Red Bull is no longer evolving.”If you think about it, I believe they haven’t been growing. Since they have less time in the wind tunnel, they will likely carry over some of this year’s time to next year. So no, I believe it to be just one of those instances. They’re so obvious that it’s possible they’re not as invested in developing their car as we are.

It’s not much that Norris can contribute to that tale. “I have had some dreams about it, but like Carlos mentioned, I’m sure they’ll be back on track the following weekend. I’m not sure what challenges they faced this year or this weekend, but watching his onboard yesterday made me giggle a little bit because I’ve never seen a car so terrible,” the McLaren driver said. Max chuckled over it as well. Next weekend, we’ll see. I believe they’ll most likely return to the top.”
