Alabama announced on Thursday that the 2024 Golden Flake A-Day Spring Football Game will begin at 3 p.m. CT.
The Crimson Tide announced last month that Saturday, April 13, would be the date of their yearly spring football game at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
Although the public scrimmage’s broadcast details are still pending, head coach Kalen DeBoer was questioned earlier this week regarding the structure of his first A-Day Game at Alabama.
“Many things are just determined by the roster,” DeBoer stated on Tide 100.9. “I would really like to stick with the current format, which I know the people adore.
Of course, we’ll do that. However, we must ensure that everything we do is strategic, geared towards improving us, and designed to get the most of each and every exercise.
Since this will be the public’s first glimpse of DeBoer’s time at Alabama, a lot of eyes will be on the 15th and final session of the spring.
It will also have a new look as the Tide added 34 new players, 8 new on-field coaches, and numerous new support staff members, while 40 players from the 2023 roster left the programme through the NFL draft or the transfer portal.
On April 13, Alabama will host baseball and softball contests in addition to football. Baseball will play Arkansas at 4 p.m., and softball will host Texas A&M at 11:30 a.m.
Information about A-Day activities throughout the weekend will be released later.
