After losing 33-19 at home to the Baltimore Ravens on Christmas, the San Francisco 49ers fell to 11-4 and may need two more victories to secure the NFC’s top seed.

The 49ers had a terrible game overall. Brock Purdy threw four interceptions, and the defense allowed their highest number of points this season. The team also struggled mightily on the offensive end.

After the game, 49ers analyst Rohan Cvarthhakrai gave his immediate assessment of the team’s 33-19 loss to the Baltimore Ravens, outlining the key lessons the team should learn going forward.

On the offensive end, Brock Purdy leads the way after a forgettable performance in which he completed 56 percent of his passes for 255 yards and four interceptions.

Purdy’s first interception occurred in the red zone and seemed to be his fault because he threw a crosser toward Deebo Samuel a little too late.

Despite having some bad starting field position, the 49ers defense played fairly well in the first half, forcing the Ravens to settle for field goals three times.

As the game progressed, though, San Francisco began to appear worn out, and it showed on the field against Lamar Jackson, who was able to have his way as the team scored 33 points for the day.

Despite entering the game as the best rushing team in the league, the Ravens had limited success on the ground, but it was an interesting strategy to start as Baltimore opted to use a more passing approach to start the game.
