KY LOUISVILLE (WDRB) — A bus driver for Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS) went above and beyond to make a little boy who was grieving happy.

As Levi, a first-grader, was being driven to Engelhard Elementary School, Larry Farrish Jr. noticed a sharp shift in his behavior.

When Farrish asked him if he had any pajamas for Pajama Day at school, the normally upbeat boy broke down in tears.

That’s when Farrish made his move. Farrish bought two pairs of pajamas and brought them to the school for Levi to keep after completing the route.

Louisville, Kentucky (WDRB) — A bus driver employed by Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS) went above and beyond to make a grieving young boy smile.

When Larry Farrish Jr. noticed Levi’s abrupt behavioral change, he was driving the first-grader to Engelhard Elementary School.

The normally cheerful boy broke down in tears and admitted to Farrish that he didn’t have pajamas for school on Pajama Day.

At that point, Farrish took decisive action. Upon completing the route, Farrish purchased two sets of pajamas and delivered them to the school so Levi could keep them.

Before the aforementioned statement, UofL had earlier in the day released a statement claiming that Davis had in fact communicated his intention to transfer to the Cardinals.

The first statement said, “Junior guard Koron Davis of University of Louisville has informed the program that he intends to transfer.” “We are behind him and hope the best for him going forward.”

In a tweet, Davis, however, disputed the claim, calling it “disheartening and sad.”
