Forward Pasami Saulo has re-signed with the Canberra Raiders for a two-year contract that runs through the end of 2026.
Saulo, who joined the Green Machine in 2023 from the Knights, participated in 22 games and was a crucial member of Ricky Stuart’s forward group.
“I’m really excited about the direction we’re going—to be the best in the comp—so that’s why I decided to stay,” Saulo said.
“It’s good for my family too, they are settled in and we love it here.”
Bradman Best, a center for the NSW Origin, has re-signed with the Knights for an additional three seasons, guaranteeing the Central Coast junior’s stay in Newcastle through at least 2027.
After advancing through the junior representative teams and elite pathways programs, Best, 22, has been contracted by the Newcastle Knights for his entire career. He made his NRL debut against the Wests Tigers in Round 23, 2019, a few days after turning 18 and becoming eligible for NRL selection.
In the third Origin match of the previous season, he made his debut, scoring two spectacular tries to help the Blues escape a rout.
“Bradman had a terrific season in 2023, and at his age there is no doubt he will continue to grow and improve,” stated Peter Parr, director of football for the Knights. In the upcoming years, Bradman should have a major impact for the team.
