Reports state that star point guard Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks injured his knee in the second quarter of Friday’s Slovenian national team game against Greece.
There were little over two minutes left in the second quarter when the injury occurred. Doncic pulled up favoring his knee as soon as he pursued a Greek guard over a screen while playing defense.
Doncic exited the game and did not come back, and as of right now, there has been no word on how serious his injury is.
Doncic had finished with eighteen points, but Slovenia lost 88-77.
