LAS VEGAS: It is depressing. However, that is accurate. One of the less shocking stories of this early Super Bowl Week in Las Vegas is that a former Philadelphia Eagles player is in trouble with the NFL.

According to reports from “Sin City,” edge rusher Janarius Robinson was taken into custody early on Tuesday morning on the Las Vegas Strip and charged with DUI.

It can be argued that Robinson, 24, who was a player for the Eagles in 2022, is familiar with the area and knows how to stay out of trouble because he currently plays for the Raiders in Vegas.

Unfortunately, although Robinson (who began his NFL career with the Vikings as a fourth-round pick out of State) isn’t a high-profile player, the arrest didn’t involve a member of the San Francisco 49ers or the Kansas City Chiefs, the two teams competing in Sunday’s Super Bowl. Florida

The league has made a concerted effort to ensure that its players avoid getting into any gambling problems while they are here. However, the NFL shouldn’t have to advise players to stay away from DUI charges—and not just because of the bad press that would follow.
The sad tale of Patrick Mahomes Sr. being arrested for a second DWI in Texas has already taken up much of the league’s attention. The judge granted him bail, so it appears that the father of the Chiefs quarterback will be able to travel to Vegas for the big game.
