Georgia has been very active in the transfer portal this offseason, bringing in six players so far and adding more to the roster. After announcing his transfer to Georgia, former Stanford tight end Benjamin Yurosek begs the question, what are the Bulldogs getting in him?

The in-game experience that Yurosek offers Athens is, in fact, one of his greatest contributions. Even with Brock Bowers leaving for the NFL, Georgia’s tight end group is still talented, but going into 2024, they need experience. Oscar Delp, a rising junior, played alongside Bowers last season for a considerable amount of time and filled in when he was injured. Lawson Luckie split the remaining snaps.Yurosek has played a significant role in the last three seasons throughout his four years at Stanford. As a sophomore, he had his greatest season, hauling in 43 receptions for 658 yards and three touchdowns. Currently, he has 108 receptions, 1,342 receiving yards, and five touchdowns in his career. Due to an injury, he was sidelined for half of the 2023 college football season. According to his player profile, he appears to be six feet four and weighs approximately 230 pounds, which means he also has a huge frame.
