Longtime Alabama commit Quinton “QB” Reese has officially paused his recruitment and will sign his NLI with the Crimson Tide this Wednesday on National Signing Day.

Reese, who took an official visit to Alabama last weekend, has been a member of the Crimson Tide since September 2023 and has offers from other collegiate programs including Liberty, Troy and UCF, among others.

The Crimson Tide is also rated a three-star linebacker out of Ramsay High School in Alabama, according to the 247Sports Composite.

Reese is coming off a stellar senior season in high school in which he was named Alabama’s Class 5A Lineman of the Year for helping lead Ramsay to a state runner-up finish in 2023.

As a senior, Reese was a tackling machine scoring 167 points .

tackles, 25 TFLs and four sacks in 14 games, and has combined for more than 300+ tackles and 50+ TFLs in the last two seasons alone.

Reese is the third Alabama commit to sign with the Crimson Tide on Wednesday, joining five-star wide receiver Ryan Williams and four-star edge rusher Noah Carter.

”Reese was the last remaining 2024 commitment of the Saban era. He will sign at Ramsay High on Wednesday.

The University of Alabama football program isn’t expecting a dramatic day Wednesday as National Signing Day is celebrated throughout the college football world.

The Crimson Tide will put the finishing touches on the No. 2 class of the cycle by adding three prospects to the class.

Most of the class signed their letters of intent in December while Nick Saban was still leading the Alabama football program, leaving Kalen DeBoer and his new staff with little to do to make this cycle.

DeBoer’s biggest challenge? Keeping 5-star wide receiver Ryan Williams in the class.It took DeBoer and his staff just two weeks to impress the two-time Alabama Mr.

Football winner and re-hire him to the program when Williams announced his decision on January 24.

The dynamic receiver further eliminated drama this week when he announced he would be signing on his birthday Wednesday, instead of Friday, as he had originally planned.

The Crimson Tide also expects the fax to produce signed letters of intent from defensive backs Noah Carter and Quinton “QB” Reese on Wednesday.
