Former Steelers WR helps Ravens to AFC ChampionshipThe former Pittsburgh Steelers player will be playing in his second playoff game.
PITTSBURGH – The Baltimore Ravens will get some exposure from the Pittsburgh Steelers on their roster as they try to secure a spot in the Super Bowl.
Before kickoff against the Kansas City Chiefs, Baltimore named wide receiver Dan Chisena from its practice squad to the active/inactive list.
Chisena played in the Ravens Conference Championship victory over the Houston Texans after being promoted.
He will now be a part of the team’s second playoff game and is considered a special teams player with skills in coverage and return.
Baltimore enters the game healthy, but thanks to Chisena’s play they will remain part of the group, this time in the AFC Championship.
He will join cornerback Arthur Maulet as two former Steelers representing Pittsburgh on Baltimore’s roster.
Maulet played in three games this season and was the team’s top cornerback all season, with one interception, two sacks and 37 tackles.
The Baltimore Ravens signed former Steelers wide receiver Dan Chisena from their practice squad for their playoff game against the Texans.
They signed him after the Cardinals released him in early January.
Chisena will help heal some injuries at wide receiver, including Tylan Wallace, who is dealing with a knee injury.
