One of the most exciting offseasons I’ve ever witnessed has occurred, and Notre Dame now has more opportunities thanks to all of the adjustments and changes. Jim Harbaugh is leaving Michigan for the NFL, legendary head coach Nick Saban has retired from Alabama, and the Big Ten and SEC will look very, very different in the upcoming season.
A void has been created in the world of college football by these changes. Programmes like Notre Dame have an opportunity to fill the hole left by the retirement of the game’s monarch and the departure of the current championship coach. That was the subject of the Irish Breakdown Podcast for today.
Two of the greatest coaches in the league have moved on with the departures of Saban and Harbaugh. Though Kalen DeBoer is a wonderful coach, Alabama made a great choice in replacing Saban. Moore is not Jim Harbaugh, even though he has established himself as one of the best young coaches in the league.
All of the tweaks and modifications have resulted in one of the most intriguing offseasons I’ve ever seen, and Notre Dame now has more opportunities. These adjustments have left a gap in the college football landscape. Programmes such as Notre Dame have a chance to cover the void created by the current championship coach’s departure and the retirement of the game’s monarch. Today’s Irish Breakdown Podcast focused on the topic.
