Am Sorry: Reason Why I Left Kansas City Chiefs
In a heartfelt message to my fans and teammates, I want to explain the decision I made to leave the Kansas City Chiefs. It was not an easy choice, and I have immense respect for the organization, the coaches, and my fellow players who have been like family to me. But after much thought, I believe it was time for me to step away.
The main reason behind my departure is a combination of personal and professional factors. On the personal side, I’ve been going through some significant life changes that required my attention and focus. My family needs me right now, and I need to prioritize my well-being and mental health. It’s something that’s been weighing on me for a while, and after speaking with those closest to me, I realized it was time to make a change.
From a professional perspective, I also feel that it’s time for me to explore new opportunities. After winning a Super Bowl with the Chiefs and achieving everything I could have hoped for in my time there, I felt that I had reached the end of my journey with the team. It’s not a decision I made lightly, but I want to challenge myself in a new environment, with a fresh set of goals and aspirations.
I will always have love and gratitude for the Chiefs, their fans, and the city of Kansas City. The memories we made together will stay with me forever. Thank you for supporting me through it all. This is just the beginning of a new chapter, and I’m excited for what’s next.
