Ryan Day, who is normally composed under pressure, expressed the whole gamut of feelings after Ohio State’s thrilling victory over Notre Dame on Saturday night.

There’s no denying that Day has done a reasonably good job of inheriting the legacy from a legend like Meyer, even though he has occasionally faltered in pivotal games since taking over the programme.

Day has an amazing 49-6 record in five seasons and has made three appearances in the College Football Playoffs, including a national championship in 2020. He has only gone 1-3 in the CFP, though.

Although Day’s victory on Saturday was a significant addition to his record, his true test will undoubtedly come in November when he faces No. 2 Michigan in the biggest game of the season.
