On the QB Unplugged podcast, hosted by Watson’s quarterback coach Quincy Avery, former Panthers QB Cam Newton appeared and asked the 28-year-old what he thought about the situation in Houston.
“Honestly, no, it doesn’t,” Watson said, debating whether or not that bothered him.
After Newton added that the humanist side can sometimes take over, Watson continued:
“No, I’m not even that guy.” I’m not even the type to sit there and feel any hatred because I experienced that. Do you understand what I mean? I won a joker game.
