PETALING JAYA: Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) can bulldoze past any side in the Super League but their coach is still advising caution as they prepare to take on an unpredictable Perak side.

On paper, the Southern Tigers, who annihilated Kedah 6-0 at the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium last week, should have a stroll over another northern side at the Perak Stadium in Ipoh today.

However, coach Hector Bidoglio does not want his charges to take the opponents lightly.

The Venezuelan said Perak are a side that always change tactics and he expects them to be feisty.

“We do not know what they will present to us tactically. Perak will make life tough for us.

“I have watched a lot of videos on Perak and you can see how they are tactically versatile. There is no one set strategy for them. So that is a challenge we have to face,” said Bidoglio.

“More importantly, they have a young squad that do not give up. Facing a side like us, they would surely want to put pressure from the get-go.”

JDT, who have 22 points from eight matches, will be looking to widen the gap on second-placed Selangor, who are three points behind them.

The southern side are also hoping for a big win to set them in the right frame before they square off against Selangor in the FA Cup final at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil on Aug 24.

Bidoglio will also use the Perak match to prepare his players for the FA Cup cruncher by giving most of them a run-out so he can assess them before the final.

“All my players are capable of playing in the first 11. Whoever I pick, whether for the game against Perak or the final, must be ready to give their all.
