The appearance marked Dion’s first live performance since 2020, including since when she revealed she was diagnosed with stiff-person syndrome, a rare neurological disorder, in 2022.
Dion has dazzled fans as an iconic pop superstar for over four decades, but out of the spotlight, the “My Heart Will Go On” singer is also a mother of three.
Dion and her late husband and manager René Angélil, who died in 2016, shared three sons — René-Charles Angélil and twins Nelson and Eddy Angélil.
On June 17, Dion’s eldest son, René-Charles Angélil, joined her at the New York premiere of her new documentary, “I Am: Céline Dion.” The documentary was released June 25 and is available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
In an emotional speech at the premiere, Dion shouted out her three children for their “daily love and support.”
“I love you very much,” she added after she thanked each of them by name.
Earlier this year, in May, Dion was joined by her three sons as she watched the Rolling Stones perform at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The family went backstage to see Mick Jagger, and Dion shared a photo on Instagram of herself and her sons with the rock star.
“What an incredible show! A very special thanks to @mickjagger for warmly welcoming my family. You got us rocking!” Dion captioned the photo.
