Last season, they suffered an early exit from the competition, losing in the second preliminary round at the hands of Jwaneng Galaxy.
They are back in it this season after finishing in the second position in the last campaign.
Thabiso Monyane says they will do all they bring the second Champions League to the trophy cabinet of the Sea Robbers. He stated he doesn’t want to leave the club having not achieved that.
Thabiso Monyane has expressed his determination to bring the second Champions League trophy to the Sea Robbers’ cabinet. He stressed his intention to not depart from the club without fulfilling this objective.
“We also know that for the past few seasons, we haven’t started the season as good as we wanted to, so we’ll be looking to rectify that. We want to start this season well,” Monyane told journalists as quoted by Soccer Laduma.
“We also want to retain our titles – the MTN8 and the Nedbank Cup. We also want to add one more in the cabinet and make it a treble. Those are our ambitions, those are our goals for this season.
