The 27-year-old was born in Lannemezan, however, he grew up in the village of Castelnau-Magnoac and started playing the sport at age 4 for Magnoac FC.
The scuhalf is not married but has had a long-term girlfriend named Charlene.
Dupont has made 52 appearances for his nation at senior level scoring 65 points in total. At club level, he has 105 appearances for Toulouse with 220 points. He spent three years at Castres making 61 appearances and scoring 44 points.
