The 29-year-old first developed her playmaking skills as a touch football player, winning a Touch World Cup with Australia and several Trans-Tasman titles, before making the transition to Rugby League.
She began her NRLW journey with the Paramatta Eels where she helped guide her team to the NRLW Grand Final before subsequently joining the Canberra Raiders for their inaugural NRLW season.
As a dynamic five-eighth, Ash has demonstrated her spark in the NRLW having produced eight try assists and scored two tries across 15 appearances to date. Hailing from Turungi, the talented playmaker has also proudly represented the New Zealand Maori Ferns at the 2023 and 2024 NRL All Stars events.
Bulldogs NRLW Head Coach Blake Cavallaro said he was greatly looking forward to the combination that Preston and Quinlan would create next year:
“Ash is a bit of a journeywoman who knows what it takes to gel with a new team. She has done this successfully across two NRLW clubs and at an international level.
Quinlan will commence training with the Bulldogs NRLW squad at the onset of the 2025 pre-season. In the interim, she will play out the 2024 NRLW season with the Canberra Raiders.
Out of respect to Quinlan and her current club, the Bulldogs will not be making any further comments at this time.
The Club extends its best wishes to Quinlan and her team for the upcoming season and eagerly anticipates her arrival at Belmore in due course.
