Rwanda international goalkeeper Fiacre Ntwari has all but confirmed his imminent move to Kaizer Chiefs after bidding goodbye to his teammates at TS Galaxy.

The 24-year-old was purchased by the Rockets from AS Kigali at the beginning of the concluded campaign to replace Melusi Buthelezi who had left for Orlando Pirates. He eventually forced his way into the starting team, went on to play 24 matches across all competitions, and kept nine clean sheets in the process.

It is an open secret that Ntwari has agreed to join the Glamour Boys who are desperate to reclaim their lost glory in South Africa.

“As I say goodbye, I want to thank the chairman Tim Sukazi for the opportunity he gave me to play for this beautiful club and the coaching staff, headed by Sead Ramovic and goalkeeper coach Greg Etafia for giving me my first professional debut and to my teammates,” the Rwandan posted on his official social media account.

“You guys welcomed me with both hands, I appreciate your love. To the Rockets fans, I really appreciate the love you showed me, thank you. I wish you all the best TS Galaxy. Always leave the jersey in a better place.”

Ntwari had initially joined Galaxy as Vasilije Kolak’s backup, but his exploits when given a chance pushed him to the top which attracted the Glamour Boys who have been shaky at the back.
