Kaizer Chiefs have reportedly secured their second signing of the current transfer window, according to the latest reports.

Chiefs have only signed Bongani Sam as it stands but are believed to have struck a deal for another.

Sam joins in a historic deal that sees him join Chiefs from arch rivals Orlando Pirates. He has been pictured in training in Turkey, integrating with his new teammates. So far, he has been the only new addition to the squad. Furthermore, the only other new faces that new coach Nasreddine Nabi and his technical staff have been DDC youngsters. These are in the shape of Siphesihle Tati, Nkosana Mbuthu and Manqoba Ozoemena.

Early this week, Chiefs marketing director Jessica Motaung confirmed that signings were on the way. She insisted that the hold up in signing the players was the appointment of the coach. Now upon his arrival things will move, quickly as he will be working with the club management with identifying signings. Furthermore, this publication had reported that the club had promised that would look to back Nabi by trying to sign the players he has recommended.

Now according to Unplayable, Chiefs have secured their second signing after Sam. This in the form of TS Galaxy and Rwanda number one Fiacre Ntwari

#UNPLAYABLE can reveal goalkeeper Fiacre Ntwari (24) has joined Kaizer Chiefs from TS Galaxy. Ntwari has applied for his Visa and once received, he’ll travel to Turkey to join Chiefs’ pre-season camp.” They wrote on their X account.

This confirms speculation that did the rounds in the last couple of months that Ntwari was a Chiefs target. Now with Itumeleng Khune not being in Turkey, it may be safe to assume his playing days at the club are over. Amakhosi may have now earmarked the Galaxy man as their new number for the long-term.
