Kaizer Chiefs management has explained their decision to hold off on signings, with less than four weeks remaining until the new season kicks off.
Bongani Sam remains the only player Amakhosi have reportedly acquired. Nevertheless, the club has not officially confirmed the signing.
Sam travelled with Chiefs to Turkey for their pre-season camp in preparation for the upcoming season.
Addressing fan concerns, the club’s Marketing Manager, Jessica Motaung, explained that they are delaying signings to allow the new technical team to take the lead on recruitment.
Motaung added that a lot has been happening in closed doors with regards to possible additions to the squad.
