The Miami Dolphins enter the 2024 season ready to push forward off the success that they saw last season. Miami made the postseason but ran into the buzz-saw that is the Kansas City Chiefs in the wild-card round. The Dolphins put up a decent fight in the cold conditions, but the Chiefs overpowered them in the end. Miami went into the offseason looking for ways to add to the team, especially along the defensive side of the ball.

Recently, the Dolphins added six-time Pro Bowl veteran defensive tackle Calais Campbell to the mix, bolstering their defense. Campbell has been all around the NFL throughout his long career but he is still missing that elusive Super Bowl title on his resume. He opened up about why he decided to join Miami and a big reason why is because he believes that they can win the Super Bowl this season.

“I mean, that’s a big reason why I signed here because I feel like there’s a really good opportunity here,” Campbell said. “Very talented team all over the field, both offense and defense. When you go through the roster, you see so many people that I feel like if we can play together and really build that team chemistry you need, we’ll be a force to be reckoned with.”

The chance to compete for a title is what is still driving Campbell to keep playing. He wants to make his mark on this Dolphins team and believes he can still provide some value. His experience should be huge for Miami and maybe they can get over their long playoff drought this season.
