Max Verstappen has insisted that he is happy at Red Bull, citing the team’s significant investment in their power unit operation as a key factor influencing his optimism for the future. These comments come despite significant interest from Mercedes, who want the Dutchman to replace the Ferrari-bound Lewis Hamilton.

Verstappen and Red Bull kicked off the 2024 campaign as the clear frontrunners, winning four of the opening five races and going relatively unchallenged by the rest of the field. However, since Lando Norris pipped the reigning champion to victory in Miami, that has changed.

The 26-year-old now travels to Montreal with just one win from the last three races and with the RB20 struggling to perform over bumps and kerbs, the signs point towards another difficult weekend for Verstappen and the Canadian Grand Prix. Despite these concerns, the Red Bull star insists he is happy at Milton Keynes
