Missouri softball will host the NCAA Columbia Regional as the No. 7 national seed, with the double-elimination tournament beginning Friday.

To get to the super-regional round, the Tigers must advance past regional 2-seed Washington, No. 3-seed Indiana and No. 4-seed Omaha. Missouri’s regional begins against Omaha on Friday evening at Mizzou Softball Stadium, following the Huskies-Hoosiers matchup.

MU, coached by Larissa Anderson since 2019, reached the championship in the 2024 SEC Softball Tournament, knocking off Ole Miss, Arkansas and LSU before falling to Florida in the title game. The Tigers, who are 43-15 this season, have more wins than in any other season under Anderson.

Mizzou last advanced to an NCAA Super Regional in 2021, when the Tigers fell to James Madison.

The NCAA Columbia Regional begins Friday and runs through Sunday, when the championship will be played. You can find live score updates from Missouri’s opener against the Mavericks here.

ESPN+ will have the exclusive stream of the Tigers and Mavericks’ regional meeting. Chuckie Kempf (play-by-play) and Monica Abbott (analyst) will handle the broadcast on ESPN+.
