Although the Dallas Mavericks crumbled down the stretch of Game 4 against the Oklahoma City Thunder in a 100-96 loss, there’s at least one national media member who thinks Luka Doncic and company can still win the series. Dallas and OKC are tied at 2-2 in the Western Conference semifinals with Game 5 happening in Oklahoma on Wednesday night.

NBA analyst for ESPN and former player Tim Legler believes Doncic, who has been underwhelming this postseason, will have a “big response” over the next two or three games to close the series based on how he’s performed in high-pressure postseason moments over the course of his young career.

“This comes down to their best offensive players, two of the best offensive players in the league, absolutely not showing up in the fourth quarter,” Legler said of Dallas’ Game 4 loss on the ALL NBA Podcast. “It can’t be all about facilitating and throwing lobs and kick out 3s. No, you have to put the ball in the basket to stop the momentum of the Oklahoma City thunder, and they weren’t able to do it. I know one or both of them is gonna show up in the remaining two or three games of this series.”
