West Ham’s outgoing manager, David Moyes, isn’t leaving football entirely post his exit from the club after the climax of the 2023/24 season, as he steps straight into a new role.

Moyes’ departure from the Hammers by mutual consent, after over four years at the helm, was made public earlier this week. Little time has elapsed since then, but the Scot has not taken a break and already pencilled in his next gig.

Swapping his tracksuit for the commentary mic, Moyes is geared up to join talkSPORTs crew for their EURO 2024 coverage. In a social media post discussing their latest acquisition, talkSPORT wrote: “Give it Moysey for the Euros,” further adding, “David Moyes joins the talkSPORT team to provide his expert insight and analysis throughout the tournament.”

Joining Moyes in the broadcasters star-studded ensemble are former players Emmanuel Petit and Ashley Young. Additionally, two figures well known to Moyes from his Premier League days, Alan Pardew and Graeme Souness will also be part of the crew in Germany.

As his tenure approaches its conclusion at West Ham, Moyes looks back cherishly on his days with the club. Under his management, the Irons celebrated their maiden European trophy in almost 50 years.
