A group of Rangers supporters targeted the Green Brigade today, claiming that their banners had been “stolen.”

During their victory over Kilmarnock at Ibrox this afternoon, the Union Bears made fun of their Celtic rivals.

Towards the conclusion of the game, they raised a display with two banners that were inverted and the remaining ones that were clearly readable.

The Green Brigade had previously flown the banners during a previous match, protesting Philippe Clement’s remarks that Rangers were the “moral champions” of the team’s most recent derby, which ended in a 3-3 draw in April. The Ibrox club was also called “serial losers” by them.

Following the Rangers’ 4-1 victory today, a picture of the Union Bears rearranging the signs—which were purportedly taken from the Green Brigade—has surfaced.

It said on the screen: “Green Brigade. Banner losers by default.”

An extreme Facebook page on X shared a photo of the exhibit along with the caption, “Union Bears (Rangers) with stolen Green Brigade (Celtic) banners for the derby next week.”

Derek McInnes, meanwhile, has questioned why, during Kilmarnock’s match against Rangers at Ibrox this afternoon, referee David Dickinson added on eight minutes at the end of the first half.

After 45 minutes of play in the decisive Premiership match at Govan, James Tavernier’s own goal had put the Rugby Park club ahead 1-0.

However, Dickinson, who had used his pitchside monitor to conduct two VAR checks, let play to continue, and just before he blew the halftime whistle, Fabio Silva scored an equalizer.
