COTTONHAM \u2014 The atmosphere at Hull City\u2019s training ground turned sour this morning as star goalkeeper Ivor Pandur reportedly informed manager Sergej Jakirovi\u0107 that he no longer wishes to represent the club.<\/p>\n

Witnesses say the tension boiled over during a high-intensity tactical drill. The “world-class” Croatian international, who was named the club\u2019s Player of the Year last season, was allegedly seen in a heated exchange with Jakirovi\u0107. Sources inside the camp suggest the misunderstanding centered on the manager\u2019s demand for Pandur to play a more aggressive “sweeper-keeper” role, a tactic Pandur reportedly feels exposes the defense and risks his own clean-sheet record.<\/p>\n

After several minutes of shouting, Pandur reportedly removed his gloves and walked off the pitch, telling coaching staff, “If this is how we play, I don’t want to play for this club anymore.”<\/p>\n
