The Tampa Bay Bucs narrowly lost to the Atlanta Falcons in their divisional matchup for first place. Among the Buccaneeyers’ numerous careless errors in the last few minutes was an interception by Baker Mayfield. The Buccaneers stopped the Falcons’ offense despite the interception, and they converted a field goal to tie the game at 13. The Falcons won the game 16–13 with less than a minute remaining in regulation after driving down the field and kicking a field goal as time ran out.
