CLEMSON: Even though it seems like the NCAA football season just ended, Clemson football’s spring practice begins on Wednesday.

In the Gator Bowl game versus Kentucky in December, the Tigers will be starting eight men on defence and ten on offence, including Barrett Carter, the starting linebacker. Additionally, they signed two five-star athletes from the 247Sports Composite’s 11th-ranked recruiting class of 2024.

Running back Will Shipley, linebacker Jeremiah Trotter Jr., defensive back Nate Wiggins, and defensive tackle Ruke Orhorhoro—all of whom chose to turn pro—will all be missed, and coach Dabo Swinney will have to adjust. Additionally, he will need to figure out how to replace the output that the moved safety Andrew Mukuba and wide receiver Beaux Collins provided.

We will get a sneak peek at what Clemson football has in store for us come springtime of 2024. The five players that have the most to prove throughout spring practice are as follows:

In 2022, Williams finished first on the team in receptions and receiving yards during his rookie year. However, foot and ankle ailments ended Williams’ sophomore campaign. Through five games in 2023, he had 22 catches for 224 yards and two scores. Troy Sellato and Tyler Brown were able to play more because of his injuries.
