EA Sports College Football 2025 is officially scheduled to launch this summer, and the massive video game company is getting ready to take player opt-ins.

Since all 134 FBS teams will be participating in the game, every FBS athlete will have the opportunity to choose to participate. These gamers will receive a regular payment of $600 in exchange for a copy of the game, which is estimated to be worth $70.

It’s unclear how many gamers will choose to opt in. However, on Thursday, two prominent players disclosed that they were among the first to consent to opt-in on the first day that players were permitted.

Two athletes, Ohio State cornerback Denzel Burke and Alabama defensive back Malachi Moore, revealed on Instagram that they had chosen to participate in a paid relationship with EA Sports, according to On3.com.

In 2024, Moore is scheduled to play collegiate football for the sixth time, although he will have a new head coach.

After the season, Nick Saban departed, and Kalen DeBoer, the head coach of Washington, took over. After travelling to the College Football Playoff semifinal, the Crimson Tide is back at it.

Moore has contributed significantly to the Tide’s roster in each of his past four seasons. He recently finished a 2023 campaign in which he broke up five passes, made 52 tackles, including five for loss, and was chosen as a permanent captain. He had one interception as well.

In his final collegiate football season, Burke recorded 24 tackles, three tackles for loss, and one interception.

Two seasons after being selected to the Third Team All-Big Ten, he was named to the First Team All-Big Ten.

In 2023, he contributed to Ohio State’s 11-2 record. In 2024, the Buckeyes ought to be conference and College Football Playoff contenders once more.
