quarterback Josh AllenIt’s not good news for the Buffalo Bills.

In the off-season, everything seemed so promising. There was life in the Bills Mafia. And all of the AFC teams were attempting to avoid losing. The season is now shattered and fractured. The record is worn and the Bills are blown away. How come a season can end with so many poor drives?

Editor’s Note: Ken Dorsey, the offensive coordinator for the Bills, was fired on Tuesday. Joe Brady, the quarterbacks coach, will assume the position temporarily.

After the 5-5 Bills’ 24-22 loss to the Denver Broncos on Monday, it is not even appropriate to discuss the team’s chances of winning the Super Bowl.

“Awful. After the Broncos’ walk-off victory, quarterback Josh Allen said, “Shouldn’t have been in that position in the first place.” “Very poor football play. a great deal of poor football.”

In theory, Allen and company are still in the running for the playoffs. However, they are no longer on the same level as the Baltimore Ravens, Miami Dolphins, and Kansas City Chiefs. In contrast, the Bills rank as the 10th best team in the AFC, behind teams like the Indianapolis Colts, Houston Texans, and Las Vegas Raiders.

Give the preceding sentence a moment to settle in.

The Bills, who have been regarded as one of the NFL’s best teams for the previous three seasons, are now in the same division as a team led by rookie quarterback Gardner Minshew II, another team with a first-year head coach, and a team that fired its head coach earlier this season.

This team is in danger of missing the postseason for the first time since 2018 due to self-inflicted errors, subpar quarterback play, subpar coaching, and a demanding late-season schedule.

This season’s missteps were all microscopically represented in Monday’s performance, which started with the opening play of the match.
