Pittsburgh After dropping to 7-7 on the season and losing their third straight game, the Pittsburgh Steelers find themselves in a difficult situation. And going into Week 16 against the Cincinnati Bengals, “everything” is up for change, according to head coach Mike Tomlin.

The Steelers are now out of the conference playoff picture and in last place in the AFC North. Now that they are facing certain defeat, they are examining every aspect of the team, including coaches, players, and schematics, in an attempt to identify what went wrong.

As I sit here today, I may not have all the answers. We would’ve played differently today if I knew the answers. However, I will concede that the current state of affairs cannot continue,” Tomlin stated. “We will no longer carry on in the same manner and hope or expect a different outcome.

We therefore have seven days to complete this. We’ll see what happens to us during those seven days. However, I’m just stating the obvious at this point: our football team is losing. And I’m accountable for it. Not my best day.

Sitting here today, I don’t necessarily know the answers. Today’s game would have been different if I knew the answers. However, I will accept that things will not stay the same,” Tomlin remarked. We shall not persist in our current course of action while hoping or expecting a different outcome.

We therefore have a seven-day turnaround. We’ll find out what awaits us during those seven days. However, I’m only now admitting that our football team is losing. I also own that. Not a pleasant day.
