Before they acquired Davante Adams in a trade last year, the wide receiver position on the Las Vegas Raiders had seen some extremely awful luck. When former head coach Jon Gruden took over the organisation, he traded wide receiver Martavis Bryant to the Pittsburgh Steelers for a third-round choice. This was one of his first major moves.
The NFL placed Bryant on indefinite leave during his first season with the Raiders for breaking the conditions of his conditional reinstatement following a prior ban for breaking the league’s drug abuse policy. Bryant seems to be considering a return to the NFL after being out of it for almost five years.
Roger Goodell has reinstated the wide receiver, according to a tweet made by NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero on November 4 on X, formerly Twitter. Furthermore, he’s “attracting interest from teams” regarding a possible return.
It would be a low-risk transfer for a team to make, given that he has managed to avoid trouble for the past few years.
In other developments, general manager Dave Ziegler and head coach Josh McDaniels were fired by the Raiders this week, marking a significant shift. After two humiliating losses in a row, the team’s record dropped to 3-5 and its future looked dismal.
Despite appearing considerably happy since the news broke, Davante Adams has been dissatisfied throughout the season. Although he doesn’t rejoice at Ziegler and McDaniels’ dismissals, he acknowledges that a shift was necessary.
