Centre for the Phoenix Suns, Jusuf Nurkic, did not hold back while discussing Draymond Green following the two big men’s back-and-forth duel during Saturday’s Golden State Warriors vs.

Phoenix Suns game. Steph Curry’s clutch plays may have made him the true hero, but Green and Nurkic stole the show with their constant back-and-forth throughout the contest.

The Warriors barely prevailed, winning 113–112. This was the first face-off between the two after Green’s indefinite suspension following his head-chopping of Nurkic.

The centres hit the “too small” celebration on each other in addition to their rough play. And the player from Bosnia continued to make fun of the four-time NBA champion when he spoke to the media after the Suns’ defeat.

Nurkic responded similarly when Green struck him in the head. When it came to gameplay, the former was talkative right away, facing Green. His mouthing the words “Get outta here” at the Warriors player was one of the incidents.

When questioned about Jusuf Nurkic’s remarks and their altercation during the game, Draymond Green responded angrily as well. Curry offered some support as well, labelling the Suns center’s remarks as “idiotic.”

The Warriors’ defence has greatly improved since moving Green to centre, and their 6-1 record over their last seven games indicates that they are making a concerted effort to surge back into contention.

The hosts would not be swept by the Suns this season thanks to the victory on Saturday. Before the two heavyweights square off once more in the NBA, a long time will pass.
