Las Vegas remains at No. 13 in the Raiders 7-round mock draft, adding a franchise quarterback.
In this mock draft during Super Bowl Week, the Las Vegas Raiders select another quarterback to suit their new offensive coordinator.
For the Las Vegas Raiders, a lot has changed since we released the previous mock draft. It appeared for a few days that Kliff Kingsbury, the former head coach of the Arizona Cardinals, would be joining them as their offensive coordinator.
Many people conjectured that the Raiders would locate a quarterback who fit with Kingsbury’s Air Raid offence, which is a variant of the offence.
Due to contract disputes, the Kingsbury agreement fell through soon after the leaks were made public. He is currently the offensive coordinator for the Washington Commanders. Luke Getsy, a former member of the Chicago Bears, takes his position. Most of Raider Nation is probably not too happy with the hire, but let’s wait and see if he can or cannot complete the task.
There may also be a change in quarterback with the coordinator going from Getsy, who ran a west coast offence, to Kingsbury, who ran the Air Raid. The Raiders may now concentrate on a player who is possibly a little more mobile than Michael Penix or Bo Nix, and that is where our mock draft begins.
Let’s get started and discover who else was influenced by their Senior Bowl performance.
