IBROX ICON’S HISTORIC PLEDGE: NADERI VOWS TO REBUILD GLASGOW’S YOUTH SPORTS SCENE

GLASGOW — In a move that has redefined the meaning of “giving back,” Rangers FC’s rising star Ryan Naderi has stunned the sporting world by pledging a staggering £15 million—the entirety of his projected career bonuses and sponsorship earnings—to transform youth sports across the city of Glasgow.

The 22-year-old forward, who only arrived at Ibrox in February, has clearly fallen in love with the city. Rather than investing in luxury assets, Naderi has chosen to tackle the decline of grassroots facilities head-on with a plan that will leave a legacy for generations to come.

The “Naderi Next-Gen” Masterplan

The donation, channeled through a newly formed trust, is specifically designed to remove the financial barriers that prevent young Glaswegians from reaching their potential.

Seven Community Hubs: The £15 million will fund the construction of seven state-of-the-art “Next-Gen Hubs” in Glasgow’s most underserved neighborhoods, featuring all-weather pitches and indoor training facilities.Zero-Cost Participation: Naderi’s endowment ensures that every coaching session, kit, and tournament entry fee for participants will be entirely free of charge for the next decade.Mental Health Support: Each academy will staff professional counselors to support young athletes, a cause Naderi described as “closer to my heart than any trophy.”

A Statement of Pure Class

At a packed press conference today, Naderi was humble about the life-changing sum. “I grew up knowing how much a single chance can change a life,” the striker told reporters. “The fans here gave me a home when I was a stranger. This is my way of saying that even if I am sidelined with injury today, my heart is out there on the pitches with the kids of this city.”

Rangers manager Danny Röhl praised the young star’s character, noting that “Ryan has shown today that he isn’t just a world-class player, but a world-class human being.”

The first “Naderi Hub” is scheduled to break ground in the Govan area this summer, even as the player continues his own rehabilitation from a hamstring injury
