Former Steelers LB argues for the signing of Pro Bowl Ravens LB by the team
Would Patrick Queen be a target for the Pittsburgh Steelers? The move would come from Terrence Garvin.

In 2024, the Pittsburgh Steelers will need to make another move at linebacker during the offseason. Following the seeming success of Omar Khan’s signings of Kwon Alexander, Cole Holcomb, and Elandon Roberts, two serious injuries to Alexander and Holcomb left the status of all three players in doubt.

This time, Pittsburgh might attempt to add a player selected in the NFL Draft and try to get younger. However, individuals could choose to revert to their previous level of free agency.

But Moats and former Steelers linebacker Terrence Garvin talked about some names that would make sense on the Arthur Moats Show. Patrick Queen, a linebacker for the Ravens, was mentioned by Moats. Garvin reluctantly agreed to mention it, but he thinks it could help with the linebacker situation.

Yes, I would cover Patrick Queen’s costs. Patrick Queen is nice,” Garvin remarked. “..But take into account the position’s worth. It is comparable to a defensive back. They don’t value things so highly unless they are exceptional, and this one fits the bill.

Although Garvin is correct that linebackers aren’t thought to be as vital as other positions, it should be remembered that the NFL’s best tandems aren’t uniformly found there. When performed well, the position is valuable, as demonstrated by players like Roquan Smith, Queen, and Dre Greenlaw as well as Fred Warner. Although Queen is now a Pro Bowl calibre linebacker, the Steelers would have to pay a high price to acquire him.
